11/29/2023 0 Comments Monster hunter rise charge blade![]() ![]() just use it wisely- you can use it while monster is busy with another player, or after GP on roar, or when monster is downed/paralysed/exhausted yep you get wide open for monster attack when you use it, but aiming it is so much better compared to grounded UAED, cos you can change angle and aim freely mid-air. imo, this is only good if you're always playing solo.Īxe hopper+UAED is my main damager. The main things/points that helped me adjust:ĭon't use countermorph if you want to move around quickly and chain attacks. I had the same feeling as well, when i first played CB in MHR (i'm a main CB user in MHW) So i guess my main question is, what do you do while you're waiting for that rare saed opening? i feel like so much of my time is just guard-pointing attack after attack with no reward, which is a massive waste of time (and health and stamina and sharpness) monsters are just too fast and dont wait any length of time inbetween attacks. With charge blade guard points, all that happens is that my health, stamina, and sharpness get chipped away because I cant actually do anything after a guard point. This is coming from using longsword, where timing a counter correctly gets you hundreds of damage and can combo into another counter. I can consistently guard point attacks, but what's the point if i can't chain into SAEDs/AEDs? Like I guard point and then just do nothing? maybe a charged double slash for like 100 damage total? It doesn't help that half of all attacks create a heavy knockback which prevents me from chaining at all. if i want to use either of these, i either have to trade because the recovery is so long, or the monster has to be downed, which happens rarely. My main problem is that i never seem to have a large enough opening to use an saed or even the quicker aed.
